146 COLD WATER POOLS (SHOCK POOLS) They are small bodied pools which are mainly used which are sauna system according to immediate for body temperature. Their depths must be between 1.10 m and 1.35 m and their water areas must be approximately 10 m². The cold water pools with at most 2 m³ of volume can be operated by continuous filling water flow. In that water temperature mustn’t exceed 15°C. The filling water must be chlorinated and its free chlorine value must be 0.3-0.6 mg/ lt. The water overflowed into the overflow channel must be discharged and it must be reinforced by clean water (from the network). The added water must not be less than 60 liters per person. The pumping point of the filling water must be placed on the pool bottom. It is obligatory to have a water preparation facility for the cold water pools that have more than 2 m³ volume. INFINITY POOLS Infinity pools appear larger than they are by blending seamlessly with a beautiful landscape. If the landscape they create harmony with is a sea view, these pools give the feeling of stretching to infinity. The most important factor creating the illusion of merging with the landscape in infinity pools is that the outward-facing sides of the pool are designed to be as invisible as possible. Ideally, this edge is made below the pool surface level and the overflow flows into a second pool below. Infinity pools can be made in desired sizes as long as there is enough space. However, since it is aimed to create a wider and more spacious appearance, larger sizes are preferred. Although we have generally seen infinity pools in businesses such as hotels, infinity pools can also be built in private residences. The key prerequisites are sufficient space, a good view, and adequate elevation. The first important factor in the construction of an infinity pool is to determine the right area. In addition to a pleasant view and the height of the area, it is ideal if the construction of a second pool is suitable to catch the water overflowing from the pool. Infinity pools can be made in many different shapes and sizes depending on the nature of the area. However, especially in this type of pool, professional work is required for a good design and construction process. HIDDEN OVERFLOW POOLS Due to its structure, overflow pools have edge grids that completely surround the pool. Although the overflow pool system creates a stable and pleasant appearance in the pool water, these edge grids may disrupt the aesthetics of the pool for some users. In this case, thanks to the hidden overflow pool system, it is possible to benefit from the features of the overflow pool without these side grids. Hidden overflow pools work similarly to standard overflow pools. However, in this type of overflow pool option, gutters that are not easily visible from a distance are used instead of side grids. The channels used in the hidden overflow pools have a special design and are designed in such a way as not to disturb the aesthetics of the pool. These grooves, which are located on the sides of the pool and cannot be seen easily because they are placed right into the pool, are used to ensure the cleaning of the pool surface in the hidden overflow pool system. Since it is more troublesome in terms of design, this pool type will be more expensive than standard overflow pool systems. However, hidden overflow pool systems with various design options are ideal for users seeking a more natural and aesthetic appearance.
